All those “Air Force Ones” & “Grillz” got Nelly in a huge “Dilemma” (see what I did there?) TMZ reported that the rapper, Cornell Iral Haynes, Jr., owes $2,412,283 federal taxes & also $149, 511 in taxes to his home state of Missouri, dates back to 2013. The rapper hasn’t had a No.1 hit in over a decade. Spin Magazine came up with the idea to help Nelly pay his debts- According to the site, if everyone bands together and streams Nelly’s 2000 hit “Hot in Herre” 287,176,547 times we canhelp him with his tax dilemma. (Spotify recently said they pay artists between $0.006 and $0.0084 for each song streamed). Since the news broke, fans on Twitter have banned together with #SaveNelly in hopes to help him pay off his debts. Nice life.
