Forbes has released it’s list of the richest women in the music industry in 2016, & we can’t say we’re surprised by the Top 5. Beyonce came in at #5, making a total of $54 million, but she’ll be higher on next years list, when she grosses $250 million thanks to her Formation World Tour. Rihanna came in 4th place, who made $75 million, tearing apart radio and touring while adding to her total through endorsement deals with Dior, Puma, Samsung and Stance. Madonna is No. 3 with a $76 million paycheck. Top 2 spots- Adele at # 2, making $80 million, which was mainly from album sales (which is rare for artists) for 25, which was the highest selling album of 2015. Taylor Swift takes the top payroll, making $170 million off of her 1989 Tour, selling over 3 million albums, & her endorsements with Keds, Diet Coke, & Apple.
